An overview of Integrated Supervision System (ISS) Reporting


To ensure stability and compliance environment of the financial sector Bangladesh Bank, the central bank of Bangladesh has taken a good number of information and technology bases initiatives. Supervisions on banks and NBFIs is one of the most important tasks of Bangladesh Bank. Nature of banking operations has changed many times in accordance with the pace of technological innovation.

Keeping in mind, central bank also adopts new measures, philosophy and mechanism to combat the up-coming challenges lay with the financial activities.

As a part of this expedition Bangladesh Bank has introduced the integrated Supervisor System (ISS).

ISS for:

  • To ensure effective supervision.
  • To adopt risk-based supervision approach.
  • Proper analysis of supervision concerns.
  • Ensure a smooth and timely decision making process.
  • Increase the analytical ability of supervision staff.
  • Enable Bangladesh Bank to find the policy gap and take necessary action thereto. 





As on reporting date/end of month: Balance sheet nature (Under trial balance as on last date of the reporting month).

For the reporting month: Performance Nature (Each month's 1st date balance and last date of the month is the closing date activity.

For the accounting year: income statement nature (1st January to reporting month) cumulative basis.
